Stages of Production

Accumulation Series
Falling Away
This is the most recent oil painting on board, 36x40". Fernando photographed several stages of the production and while I don't want to put the emphasis on process, it is interesting to see the changes. The last few paintings have started with a charcoal drawing. It seems much easier to develop form and space with charcoal and eraser than with slippery paint.
