These are some crops from graphite drawings done in 2017.  There was such momentum in the process (over 35 drawings created!) and I was very surprised at the images that were emerging, not so much by planning, but from a more subconscious level. Perennial Flowering sumi ink painting by Fernando Llosa A favorite painting now at the Cap Artspace in Ithaca, in the Beyond Ourselves exhibit.

Today we were hanging the show that will open this Gallery Night at CAP Artspace.  Fernando should be in this picture, but he is, as usual, behind the camera.  Hope to See you this Friday, Dec. 1, 5-8 in Center Ithaca, Ihaca Commons.

Fernando Llosa  is opening a new exhibit on Gallery Night,  December 1, 2017  at the Community Arts Partnership  ArtSpace Gallery,  in Center Ithaca, on the Ithaca Commons.  The title of the show is "Beyond Ourselves"  a meditation on the mystery of life  as humanity's only common ground. The exhibit will be open throughout December.
