Beyond Ourselves

 is opening a new exhibit on Gallery Night, 
December 1, 2017
 at the Community Arts Partnership ArtSpace Gallery,
 in Center Ithaca, on the Ithaca Commons. 

The title of the show is "Beyond Ourselves"
 a meditation on the mystery of life
 as humanity's only common ground.

The exhibit will be open throughout December.

The above painting, Home Sweet Home , was painted about 5 years ago in recognition of the serious planetary conditions we are facing.  I was always surprised at the lack of reaction that people had in seeing this image.  Was it disaster fatigue? Cosmic Being,   shows   a  human being who has the point of view of Life. As Life, we are one with the universe and the ecological system of the earth. What happens to Earth and what happens to human beings has a direct impact on all of  us. We are not isolated beings. Everything is in relationship.
