New Drawings

I've just started some new graphite drawings and I'm really enjoying the process of drawing again.  It seems so spontaneous and the work has its own momentum.

 The craziness of building yet another wall has been on my mind.  Images of building a wall, scaling the wall, climbing over and then ultimately taking down the wall all came to me as I worked on this drawing.

The above painting, Home Sweet Home , was painted about 5 years ago in recognition of the serious planetary conditions we are facing.  I was always surprised at the lack of reaction that people had in seeing this image.  Was it disaster fatigue? Cosmic Being,   shows   a  human being who has the point of view of Life. As Life, we are one with the universe and the ecological system of the earth. What happens to Earth and what happens to human beings has a direct impact on all of  us. We are not isolated beings. Everything is in relationship.
